1. Agreement
These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and the operator of StaticWeb.site. By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or using the service, you agree to these terms and our Acceptable Use Policy and Privacy Policy. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and promptly update details that change. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Tell us promptly at support@staticweb.site if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Service
StaticWeb.site provides tools to build, publish, and deliver websites and browser-based frontend applications, including interactive applications that connect to separately hosted APIs. Server-side application hosting is not included. Features, limits, and availability may vary by plan. We may improve or change the service, provided that we do not materially reduce a paid plan during its current billing period without reasonable cause.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of content you upload or deploy. You grant us a limited, worldwide license to host, copy, process, and deliver that content only as needed to operate and secure the service. You confirm that you have the rights needed to upload the content and that it complies with applicable law and our Acceptable Use Policy.
5. Fees and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance at the price and interval shown at checkout. Taxes and usage charges may apply where displayed. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel before the next renewal date to stop future charges; cancellation does not create a refund for the current period. Our Refund Policy applies to all payments.
Prepaid usage credits
Purchased credits never expire and apply only to bandwidth and build usage beyond included allowances. Credits do not pay subscription fees or increase project, domain, or upload limits. Rates are shown in your portal. Credit purchases are processed through Polar; applicable taxes are shown at checkout. Credits cannot be transferred or withdrawn. Refunds reverse associated credits and may require a payment review. We do not automatically charge your card when credits are exhausted. Delivery and build access may pause when quotas and available credit are exhausted. CDN reporting can lag; reporting overshoot beyond available credit is not collected as customer debt. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights.
6. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, security risk, unlawful activity, material breach, or activity that threatens the service or others. Where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. After termination, content may be deleted, so you should keep your own backups.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the platform available, but no internet service is uninterrupted. Maintenance, provider incidents, security events, and circumstances outside reasonable control may affect access. Any service-level commitment must be stated in a separate written agreement.
8. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or right that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential loss, or loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, or data. Our total liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the affected service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect service, legal, or security changes. We will post the updated version and revise its effective date. If a change materially affects paid customers, we will provide reasonable notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised terms.
