Bandwidth, build minutes & credits

Understand monthly bandwidth caps, prepaid overage credits, and how usage is metered.

Subscribe to a paid plan

Open Billing & Usage and choose a paid plan. Complete checkout to start your monthly subscription. Your plan activates after payment is confirmed; refresh the portal after returning from checkout.

Open Billing & Usage to view your payment history and download invoice PDFs. After a successful payment, we email your official invoice PDF; generation may take a few minutes. Cancel renewal or undo a scheduled cancellation directly in the portal. Payment method & billing details opens secure billing for card updates, billing-detail corrections, receipts, and available paid-plan changes. Cancellation at period end keeps access until that date. Failed renewals or ended subscriptions return your account to Free; existing files are not deleted. A successful payment recovery restores paid access.

Plan fees renew on your subscription anniversary. Included usage still resets on the UTC calendar month. Credits never pay subscription fees. Contact support if a checkout is pending or the plan is not configured.

Downgrading and keeping your sites

If a plan change leaves you with too many projects or custom domains, you receive an email and a portal notice. The default grace period is 7 days; the deadline shown in your portal is authoritative. Open Plan review to select the eligible projects and domains you want to keep.

A domain must belong to a kept project. Confirming your selection applies it immediately. Without a response by the deadline, the oldest eligible resources are kept and the newest extras are suspended first. Regions not included in your plan cannot be kept active. Suspended projects and domains stop serving once the suspension takes effect, but their files and records are preserved.

You can revise your selection in Plan review. Upgrading to a plan that covers all your resources automatically removes plan-limit suspensions, but never manual administrator suspensions. Credits do not buy extra project or domain slots.

Monthly allowances

Default allowances are Free: 50 GB, Pro: 500 GB, Studio: 2 TB per UTC calendar month, shared across your projects. 1 GB is 1,000,000,000 bytes; 1 TB is 1,000 GB. Your portal displays the current allowance for your assigned plan; custom plans may differ.

Included bandwidth and build allowances reset at 00:00 UTC on the first day of the month. Changing a plan does not reset already-used traffic or minutes. Bandwidth allowance increases apply during the current month; reductions apply from the next month once your current month’s allowance has been established. Existing projects are not deleted when you hit a quota.

Top up only what you need

Open Credits and choose $10, $25, or $100. Complete checkout; applicable taxes are shown separately. Your balance updates after payment is confirmed. Refresh Credits if you have just returned from checkout.

Purchased credits never expire. They cover bandwidth and build overage only—not plan fees, project slots, domain slots, or upload-size limits. Credits are not transferable and cannot be withdrawn. We do not automatically charge your card when your balance runs out.

Overage rates and build reservations

Starting overage rates are $0.10 per GB and $0.02 per build minute. Your Analytics screen shows your current plan rates. Bandwidth uses a rate locked for that metered month; rate changes affect a later month. Each paid build locks its rate when queued.

Once included build time is exhausted, a paid build reserves enough credit for its allowed runtime. Only actual runtime is deducted when the job ends; unused reservation is released. Failed builds can consume runtime; jobs blocked before building and ready-made uploads do not.

At the limit

We email you at 80%, 95%, and 100% of your included bandwidth. Available credits cover overage. If both your allowance and available credits run out, site delivery pauses; your portal stays accessible and your files are retained. Top up, upgrade, or wait for the next allowance reset.

Usage figures and changes to delivery limits can take a little time to update. Reporting delays do not create debt beyond your available credits. If your site remains unavailable after topping up or upgrading, contact support.

Refunds and disputes

Credits do not expire on a calendar schedule. A refunded payment reverses the associated credits, and credit spending may be paused for review. This is separate from expiration. Contact support for payment disputes; statutory rights still apply.
